The Second Home Visa offers a 5 or 10-year stay in Indonesia, designed for those looking to engage in non-work activities, including investment, tourism, and retirement

Requirements:
- Copy of your passport: Must have at least 6 months of validity remaining
- Recent color photograph: Must be a recent passport-sized color photo
- Proof of living expenses: amounting to at least USD $2,000
- Must provide statement: a commitment to be fulfilled within 90 days of arrival, which includes:
- Depositing USD $130,000 in a state-owned bank account in the foreigner’s name, or
- Purchasing property in Indonesia, like an apartment or house, valued at USD $1,000,000
The Do’s:
- Engaging in tourism and visiting family or friends
- Bringing family members to live in Indonesia, as long as it adheres to immigration laws and regulations
- Entering and leaving Indonesia as long as the permit is valid
- Additional note: you must be financially sufficient during your stay in Indonesia and comply with all visa conditions and Indonesian laws
Additional information
- Upon meeting the criteria, you’ll automatically receive the Electronic Limited Stay Permit (e-ITAS) and the Re-Entry Permit at the Immigration Checkpoint, so there’s no need to visit the immigration office
- Along with the e-ITAS, a physical card version of the limited stay permit is available at the immigration office
- Overstaying, participating in prohibited activities, or failing to adhere to visa conditions and Indonesian laws may lead to fines, deportation, or other legal consequences
